Created from two game reserves,
Gashaka-Gumti national park is the largest national park in Nigeria and is located in Taraba and Adamawa states. The park hosts Chappal Waddi, Nigeria's highest mountain, rivers and lakes from River Benue -the major being the Taraba river-, and game reserves which is home to a rich variety of wildlife.

The fascinating scenery sits between Suleja and Minna in Niger state. The Gurara river which descends from the falls is a large tributary of the River Niger. Gurara waterfalls, said to be discovered by a Gwari Hunter in the 18th century, records a number of tourists yearly.
